My Shopping March 23 through 29th
After much discussion with my husband about trying to merge our lower carb lifestlye with the organic changes we made at the beginning of 2011 we decided to give it a shot. Since the lower carb change I had backed off the organic bandwagon because I wasn’t sure if there was any way possible to fit both into our budget. However we plan to give it a try and have already discussed the option of upping our grocery budget if need be. I think I will talk about that more in another post.
Anyway, I was in Carbondale on the 23rd so I decided to visit the Co-op, I hadn’t been there since last summer. The picture above actually shows everything I got that day from Kroger and the Co-op
I took a couple close up pictures to show a little more of what I actually purchased.
I spent $65.19 at the Co-op and $105.38 at Kroger
Then later in the week I stopped in at Walmart and spent right at $20
For a total of $190.57 for the week!
