Menu Plan Monday 1/9/12
For the most part last weeks menu plan went well. However Wednesday I woke up with head congestion, earache and sore throat and ended up doing very little on Wednesday and Thursday. On Wednesday my husband picked up a large sub sandwich from Walmart deli. On Thursday I just baked some chicken breast and we had fresh veggies to go with it.
Now on to this weeks plan.
Breakfast options: Eggs, bacon, Oatmeal (girls), fresh fruit, toast
Lunch Options: Meat and Veggie Wraps, PB&J Sandwiches, fresh fruit/veggies, nuts, chese

No Fuss Monday: Shredded Pork Sandwiches, fruit and veggies
Salad Tuesday: Mixed Baby Greens, broccoli, cucumber, tomato, celery, carrot, green peppers, chopped up boiled egg, flaked tuna and shredded cheese, Emeri will have veggie cheese
Breakfast Wednesday: Steak, Eggs, fresh fruit (rollover from last week)
New Recipe Thursday: Italian Herb Roasted Chicken, green beans, fresh veggies (rollover from last week)
Splurge Friday: dinner out with friends
Mexican Saturday: Baked Chicken Chimichanga
Crockpot Sunday: Slow cooker Pork Chops

Thanks for the ideas. When our children was home I planned our menu for two weeks. I would do this before I went grocery shopping. I should start this again. I am sure I would save money.
I definitely does save money and sanity to menu plan.
