My Shopping November 18 through 24
Last Friday I took a trip to Aldi and Kroger and got the bulk of my shopping done. I barely got home in time to get ready for a date with my hubby so the girls and I just took quick photos of every bagged up so they could get it put away and I could get ready.
At Aldi I picked up baked chips, pretzels, a frozen pizza, green peppers, broccoli, 2 pineapples, apples, salsa, pickles, and a few other things that I am not recalling right now.
My total spent was $24
At Kroger I bought a lot including organic milk, almond milk, cheese, vegan cheese, cereal, granola bars, o.j., non-dairy ice cream, eggs, whole wheat tortillas, peanut butter, jelly, toilet paper and more.
My total spent was $71.47
Then I had to run out on Thanksgiving morning. I hadn’t planned to but my daughter wanted to dye her hair and although we had already bought one box the day before we discovered that one box wouldn’t be enough for her long, thick hair.
So I ran to CVS knowing it would be a lot better than Walmart. I had $8 in Extra Care Bucks so I figured I would grab some freebies while I was there. I could have spent a lot less out of pocket if I would have broken my transactions up ( or if I had my coupons with me) but I just couldn’t bare to do it to the cashiers. I stood in line for a long time with two older ladies while 3 over zealous couponers, with carts overflowing, did transaction after transaction after transaction.
So I just did one big transaction.
My total spent $15.48 and I left with $16.34 in Extra Care Bucks for next time.
My Grand total spent for the week was $110.95
