Off to the Dance, Movies, Church and the Park

Is it just me or is your calendar filled for nearly everyday of the week?  Really I can’t complain, we have been busy but we have had a lot of enjoyable things to do.

Last Saturday Emeri had her High School homecoming.  She went with a big group of friends and they had a great time.  I took some of them to the park and photographed them before hand.  Here are a few of my favorite shots of Emeri.

I really love how much her eyes stand out in this first one, I will definitely be ordering it.  We got lots of compliments on her multi-colored dress.  It fit her personality so well, she is such a fun and vibrant young lady.  The moment she tried it one we knew it was the one.

I think these are my favorites….I keep changing my mind….which is why I haven’t ordered any yet.

While Emeri was at Homecoming, Jonah and I went with friends to see Courageous at the movie theater.  This was such a wonderful movie!  It was sad, hilarious, thought provoking and heart warming.  We all enjoyed it very much.  As the credits rolled in the theater there was a standing ovation.  The only other time I have experienced this in the theater was when I went to see The Passion of the Christ.

Sunday was filled with awesome Church services.  Monday Emeri and I had choir practice.  Then on Tuesday I photographed my niece for her 3 year old pictures.  She is the sister of my adorable nephew I photographed the week before.

She was really more concerned with eating apples and going down the “swide”  but what 3 year old wouldn’t be.  She was so sweet though and I did manage to get a few sweet shots before I gave in and let her play.  :)

On Wednesday I went to the Crazy Love study group at church and then on Thursday we had a Birthday party.  Yes my week was full but it was full of such enjoyable things.

It’s looking like my calendar is going to stay full for a while and I am going to thank God for a wonderful family and Church family to spend my time with.  :)

How was your week?  Do you find life to be busier during the school season or summer break?
