What are Your Anti Aging Secrets?

  • Sharebar

In just a few short months I will be turning 37, which is one step closer to 40.  Although I am often told I look much younger than I am, I find myself a little concerned because I do not have any real beauty regimen that I follow by.

One of the positives for my skin is that I do not spend a lot of time in the sun.  I am very fair and I burn quite easily so I find it much easier to stay in the shade as much as I can when I am outside.   Another positive for my skin is that I do not smoke and I know that smoking can contribute to aging.

One of the negatives for my skin is that I do not always get the proper amount of sleep and I am a stomach sleeper.  Apparently when I sleep on my stomach I usually smash one side of my face into my pillow which can cause wrinkles.  I honestly do not know how to change my sleeping habits, I cannot sleep on my back or side.  The other negative for me is that I am not consistent in exercising.  I may walk on the treadmill everyday for a week then not for 3 weeks.

I am starting to get a few lines around my eyes, nothing major yet.   I know there are many anti aging products to choose from however at this point I have yet to start using any.  My only routine is to wash my face in the shower with a basic cleanser and then to put a little lotion on after my face is dry.  That is it!

So what about you?  Do you have a special routine for cleaning your face?  Do you use any special products to prevent wrinkles or aging?

I’m very faithful to Mary Kay skin care, which has awesome anti aging benefits. I love them so much that I was a consultant for a few years, then when I got too busy I passed the business over to my sister.

Let me know if you would like to try the products for free, my sister lives locally and would be happy to drive to you or you can come to her if you prefer.

Joanna, My Mom always used Mary Kay when I was growing up also. Sadly every time I have tried Mary Kay I have had allergic reaction to it. However it has been a little more than 5 years since the last time I decided to try. Have they changed any of their formulas since then?
