My Shopping 5/20 through 5/26
Last Friday I went shopping with Shannon and we had a great time and found some good deals. Shopping with a buddy can definitely make it a lot more fun.

We went to CVS first and they had everything that I was hoping to get. I could have done multiple transactions to make my out of pocket cost lower however they were busy, there was a line of people behind us so I just did one transaction.
I normally try to only get shampoo when it is free but we were totally out so I had to buy some regardless that day.
My grand total spent was $11.46 ($3.06 of the total was tax) and I earned $6 in Extra Care Bucks
My savings for this trip was $58.60, not that I would ever pay full price for any of these items.

Then we ran into Kroger because I had a pretty good sized list of items I was needing. I did manage to get 2 bottles of Wisk for $1.99, 2 Bic Soleil Bella Disposable Razors for 99cents each, a dozen of Vegetarian Cage Free Eggs for only 50cents, Safeguard Soap for only 19cents each and several other deals. The most expensive thing I purchased was the Laura’s Lean Hamburgers for $9.99
My total spent at Kroger was $109.79 and I saved $57.83

Then we finished up by going to Walmart. I picked up the rest of the items on my list. I ad matched the Bumblebee Tuna for 77cents. The 3 bags of Wild Caught Fish were my big expenses at this store. I also purchase several items for donation but you will see them when I do my post at the end of the month.
My total spent at Walmart was $51.80
My Grand Total Spent for the week was $173.05 leaving me only $26.95 in my budget. I will tell you know that I am probably going to go a little over budget this time. Buy hey I was way under budget last time.

You sure did get a whole lot of shopping done. I would definitely not pay full price for anything either…unless it was absolutely necessary:)

I know what you mean!
[...] I had already spent the majority of my 2 week grocery budget the previous week only leaving myself $26.95 to spend. However since I was so far under budget the previous payday I was already kind of planning on going over budget on this one. [...]
