A Shopping Guide to Dollar Tree
Like Aldi, the Dollar Tree is a pretty straight forward store. At the Dollar Tree everything costs what you would expect, a dollar.
They sell everything from party supplies, groceries, cleaning supplies, health and beauty products and more. Their $1 price tag is not always the most rock bottom price you can find if you are able to match coupons with sales at another store but if you are too busy to mess with coupons the Dollar Tree is for you.
The Dollar Tree does not accept coupons.
If you are the kind of person who is just way too busy to even consider the time involved in coupons and shopping the deals I would say you can do a rather good job with your budget just by shopping the Dollar Tree and Aldi.
What are my thoughts on Dollar Tree?
I do not shop there very often however when we are heading to a birthday party it is the first place I go for cards, balloons, gift bags and such!

I LOVE the Dollar Tree! You never know what you may find there. Some things are great buys and some are not. Pay attention to the toiletries & food particularly how many ounces the products are–sometimes they are pricier per oz than going to Target or Wal-Mart. And obviously, many of the toys and items are junk that will tear up quickly. But sometimes you can create the most amazing things from items at the Dollar Tree.
Joanna, I have to totally agree with you!
and don’t forget that the Sunday paper is only $1 there! I always go and get a couple on Sundays.
