My Shopping 3/18 through 3/24

I will tell you straight up I still haven’t managed to get within my new budget yet.  For the first payday of our Organic journey I was $23.44 over.
And when we add the  $128.11 I spent last week to this week I am just a bit over again.

I finally got the opportunity to head into Target.  I found several marked down Organic jams which is great because the kids eat a lot of PB&J plus we love it on our toast.   We still haven’t found an organic peanut butter than anyone in the house can stand so we are still buying Skippy Natural.  If anyone has a suggestion for an organic peanut butter that tastes good I would appreciate it.  :)

My total spent at Target was $23.12

At Kroger I needed to pick up produce, we are going through a ton of produce.  I also got Milk, Cereal, 2 dozen eggs, cheese, Annies Mac & cheese and Salad Dressing plus 3 lbs of marked down Laura’s Lean Beef.  Getting the beef was great because we do not have a lot of meat in the house at the moment.

My total Spent at Kroger was $63.79

My total for the week was $86.91

My total for the Payday was $215.02 making me $15.02 over!

I know the co-op sells fresh peanut butter that is pretty good. I tried some fresh almond butter at the whole foods and it was so good. I wonder how hard it is to make your own nut butters? The “butter making station” is at all the organic stores here and always a lil bit of a messy place. lol I think the hardest part to get used to is all the missing sugar. maybe stir in some of gary’s new honey lol. hope u find one.

Yeah so far we have not been lucky enough to find one that anyone is interested in eating. We have tried but no luck.
