Thanks to reader Vanessa who alerted me to this on Facebook.  If you are local don’t just throw away your used up Inkjet and Laser Printer Cartridges.  Instead you can donate them to the Perry County Humane Society in Duquoin Illinois.  They can recycle these and the money used helps to buy food and keep the animals healthy.  They can also recycle old cellphones!

The Perry County Humane Society is:

A 501 (c) 3 non-profit no-kill animal rescue dedicated to helping animals in need find loving homes.  We are a volunteer-based organization that operates solely on the support from the community.  We have saved thousands of pets from destruction and/or abuse and will continue to work hard to make a difference.
