My Shopping 12/10 through 12/16
Last weeks shopping went quite well, I spent a total of $89.44 for the week and did some stocking up. So how did I do this week?
Well we were busy last weekend so I put off any shopping. Then Sunday we had snow and horrible wind, school was cancelled on Monday and we just stayed home. I still didn’t shop. By Tuesday there was NOTHING easy left in the house which meant everytime someone wanted to eat I had to cook. Hubby brought home Little Caesar’s pizza that night so no cooking and still no shopping. I considered picking up a few things on Wednesday but figured we had made it this far.
Then we had an ice storm and school was cancelled for Thursday, this was also Emeri’s 15th Birthday. I finally ended up going 2 blocks to Fred’s to get a couple things for her Birthday Dinner.
1 Bag Tortilla Chips $1
Small Container Prairie Farms Sour Cream $1.65
Breyers Neopolitan Ice Cream $3.99
My total was $6.66 and the cashier really wanted me to buy something else so the total would be different. I am not superstitious and I put my trust in God so I decided just to pay and head home.
That was all the shopping I did. We still have a lot of stuff like meat, pasta, rice, canned goods and such however there is absolutely nothing easy left in this house. Since we are going on vacation next week I will just be buying what we need to get through this week when I shop over the weekend.
My grand total for the payday was $96.10, way under my $150 per payday budget!

I love weeks when you don’t shop too much. It really helps your budget!
Me too Shelly! However I told my hubby last night that I have been consecutively under budget for quite a while now and I am expecting to do a first of the year stock up.
So I may just be going over budget in a few weeks!
