I didn’t shop on Friday this week I actually ended up putting it off until Sunday.

Kroger 11/21/10

I first went to Kroger and did a little stocking up.  Some of my favorite items were free Suave deodorant, 1 liters Bottles of Scope for 99cents, tubes of Carmex for 40cents each, Edge Shaving Cream for 53cents a can,  Skintimate Shave Gel for 68cents a can, Suave Body Wash for 67cents each, Charmin 16Dbl Rolls for $4.75 and a Raspberry Pie from the Bakery for $2.25.

There were several none coupon items that I needed to purchase that brought my total up like Dried Cherries for a Thanksgiving recipe, $3.99 for a small bag.  I also stocked up on canned fruit for my hubby to take to work at $1 a can.

Total Saved Coupons and Sales: $94.11

Total Spent: $81.27

Walmart 11/21/10

Next I ran to grab a few things at Walmart that they either didn’t have a West Frankfort Kroger or were not a good price at all.  There were no coupons used at Walmart and to me it’s a terrible price for 6 items however with all my bargain hunting I try and make a point to fit some of the things Hubby and the girls like to take for lunch in our budget.

11/25/10 CVS

I decided to run to CVS on Thanksgiving morning to get some of the freebies.  While I was there I decided to use the Extra Care Bucks I had earned to get items I had to go get at Walmart anyway since it was going to be my off week in shopping.  I had no Extra Care Bucks when I went in so I knew my out of pocket was going to be higher than usual.

My Grand total spent at CVS was $16.89!  I could have done more transactions to get my out of pocket lower but it was busy and I was not about to tie up their line.  Since I was planning to run to Walmart and buy those grocery items anyway I chose to go ahead and use my Extra Care Bucks to pay for them.  The milk and crackers would have been more at Walmart so I would have spent at least as much if not a little more.

Grand total for this week – $116.29!
