Walmart Shopping 7/30: A Blast from the Past
I have no picture this week! We had a very busy week preparing for our yard sale and Friday was the day. I had gotten up at 4:30 to make sure everything was a go when people started stopping by. We had a quite successful day and sold the majority of our stuff. It was a hot day and we were exhausted!
After the girls and I cleaned up the mess that was left I came in to the nice cool house and decided to take just a little nap. The nap helped but I was still exhausted and I knew we needed to go get some groceries. So the girls and I loaded up at about 8pm and headed to Walmart.
I went in with no coupons, no plan and no real desire to worry about it! I walked though that store and shopped almost like I used to shop. I just started putting things in the cart that looked good. I did at least add up how much I was spending as I was going along but that was the only effort I put into.
When we left the store we had spent $110 on a not so full cart of groceries, however I was too tired to care.
These days $110 for one trip is a lot for me but before I started using coupons that would have been a very low number.
This shopping trip did remind me why I do what I do!
