Those of you who read my blog know that I live for saving money!  From strategically using coupons to trying to redecorate my kitchen on a $200 budget there isn’t much I wouldn’t try.  However I haven’t always been frugal.  As a matter of fact I just started becoming frugal two summers ago.  After running up some credit card debt and spending more than my hubby’s salary was giving us the final straw came when I decided I needed to up my already high grocery budget more.

How could I possibly up the grocery budget?  There was no available spending money left.

That is when I began to learn all things frugal!  I started using coupons and cut my grocery budget in more than half and I was actually coming home with more stuff.  We studied our bills and determined what we could change to lower them.   We started cooking more at home and eating out less.   Implementing these things and more we started seeing a major difference.

Then we began paying off our debt!  Two years later we still have a little ways to go on debt but we have paid off a lot and it feels great.  We are constantly looking into more ways we can save money.    One new way that we can save a ton of money is by using Zenni Optical.  My husband, Emeri and I all wear glasses.  Thankfully Gary’s insurance pays for his but that still leaves Emeri and I.   Zenni Optical offers glasses as low as $8 a pair and I can think of many things I could do with that extra money every year.

Have you used Zenni Optical to purchase eyeglasses?  Please leave a comment and tell me about your experience.
