I realize that it is almost time to do May’s shopping recap and I am behind.  Well here is April, better late than never.

Time to tally up my March monthly totals.  My budget is $175 a payday or $350 for a normal 2 payday month.  March was a 2 payday month.

Week 2: Kroger 4/9/10, Kmart Super Doubles, Target 4/9/10, CVS 4/9/10, Walmart 4/9/10

Week 3: Kroger 4/15/10, Target 4/15/10, CVS 4/20/10

Week 4: Walgreens 4/23/10, Kroger 4/23/10, Walmart 4/23/10, CVS 4/25/10,

Week 5: Kroger 4/30/10, Target 4/30/10, Walgreens 4/30/10

Well before I even add in my coupons I am over.  My total for the month is $351.43, just barely over.  Now if we add in my coupon purchases my total comes to $369.43.

$369.43 Spent and $497.55 Saved give me a savings percentage of 58%
