Ground Turkey Crockpot Casserole

Okay, I know casseroles never look pretty or at least mine don’t!
I adapted my recipe from here by using what we had on hand and adding more veggies to make this a one pot meal.
Here is what I did:
- 1 lb lean ground turkey
- 3 large potatoes, sliced 1/4 inch thick
- 1 medium onion, diced
- 2 teaspoons garlic salt
- 3-4 tsp of Worcestershire Sauce
- 2 handfuls of baby carrots
- 1 bag frozen chopped broccoli
- 1 15 oz. Can Tomato Sauce
I layered the potatoes on bottom of the crockpot. I then crumbled the raw ground turkey for the next layer. On the third layer I added the diced onion, broccoli and the carrots. I covered it all with the tomato sauce, garlic and worcestershire sauce. I cooked it on low for about 8 hrs.
It turned out really yummy and filling. We topped it with a little bit of shredded cheese.

You are so right!!
I’ve learned that some of the best food is not pretty food. I just posted a crock pot recipe this week that is far from pretty. This sounds really good though!
