Shop to Give Sunday Week 12
This weekly meme is as a way to encourage each others to make an effort to give. Whether the giving be of your time, money or talents you are welcome to join in. I am interested in discovering new ways to help those in need and can’t wait to see how you have been giving.
Learning to use coupons wisely has allowed me to be able to give to others often.

I highly recommend you check out her blog. Laurie makes a conscious effort every week to “purchase” items to donate to those in need.
Also be sure to check out Heather @ Spectacular Savings. She is a woman of my own heart. Heather has her own weekly meme about giving to others and she continually uses her couponing talents to help others.
Here is what I purchased this week:
35 Cans of Dog Food @ 10cents each after coupons
Total Spent $3.50
The dog food is for my Grandparents who are on a fixed income. Whenever I find good deals on items I know they use like dish soap, laundry detergent, cleaners, fabric softener, toiletries I buy what I can for them. I know that with coupons I can get these items for them dirt cheap and then they can use their money for other things. I love my Grandparents so much and will do whatever I can to lighten their load.
I had planned on more shopping this week but things just didn’t turn out for me. I worked on my kitchen in the beginning of the week then was planning to do all my shopping on Thursday. Well Emeri woke up ill so I left her long enough to run to Kroger and Target. I still planned to go to Walmart, CVS and Walgreens on Friday to finish my shopping however I just didn’t make it. I was too busy preparing to leave for a Women’s Conference for the weekend.
