SI Money Savers

Time to tally up my March monthly totals.  My budget is $175 a payday or $350 for a normal 2 payday month.  March was a 2 payday month.

Week 1: Target $4.26,  Walgreens $1.02,  Kroger $39.13

Week 2: Kroger $59.76, Target $6, Walmart $31.60, CVS $14.11, CVS $5.38

Week 3: Kroger Shopping $75.69, Dollar General Store $0, Walgreens $2.18, Target $13.79, Walmart $2.69

Week 4: CVS $1.75, Walmart $1.65, Kroger $38.07, Target $17, CVS $1, Walmart $11.02

Week 5: Target $6.13, Walgreens $13.97

It seems I did a lot of shopping this month, some weeks more than others.

My grand total in spending $346.20!

I am so close and I still haven’t added my coupons.  I didn’t buy very many per week until 3/28 when they had the Dove and Snuggle Coupons.  However I have definitely gotten my moneys worth on those papers and I am still using coupons out of them.

I spent $22.50 on papers this month bringing my Spent total to $368.70 so I am $18.70 over.

Now how much did I save?

I saved $603.79!

If I would have bought everything at retail price it would have cost me $972.49. How crazy is that!!

My total savings was 63%!
