Common Sense Media: What are Your Kids Watching?
Our girls are 11 and 14 and we are still pretty particular about what they are watching and reading.
Even though my oldest daughter is 14 being able to watch a PG-13 movie is not a given. In my opinion some PG-13 movies are not at all appropriate for my child or anyone else’s. As for internet access, my girls have a mini laptop however they have to use the laptop in the living room they cannot take it off into their bedroom or the basement. It’s not that I don’t trust my girls, I don’t trust some of the content in movies, television shows, music or the internet.
So I am really glad to discover Common Sense Media, a place where I as the parent can get reviews on the books, movies, music and web pages they want to use.
You too can get age-appropriate reviews of movies, TV, web, books, and music and receive a FREE gift from Disney Digital Books. Click Here for more details.
