Giveaway: Seventh Generation Disinfecting Cleaning Kit

***This contest is now closed! Thanks to all who participated.***
Yesterday the FedEx man pulled up and I got very excited. I knew that my chance to try out Seventh Generation cleaning products was finally here.
If you have read my blog for any length of time you may have realized that I am not really into buying a lot of cleaning products or really any cleaning products for that matter. When I post my weekly shopping trips you probably never see bathroom cleaner, windex or kitchen cleaner not because I have a huge stockpile of cleaners but because I am just not really into commercial cleaners.
I can’t see myself spending a ton of money for things that are not good for my family. So my usual cleaning kit consists of vinegar, baking soda, dish soap and very occasionally bleach.
The last few weeks I have been carrying around a stash of Seventh Generation products coupons and hadn’t yet decided if I would use them or not. Since I had never used the product I wasn’t sure if it would be worth my money.
However yesterday I got my answer!!
Thanks to Seventh Generation through MyBlogSpark I received the above Disinfecting Cleaning Kit to try out.
The kit included: a disinfecting multi-surface cleaner, bathroom cleaner, wipes , a copy of The Conscious Kitchen, a cleaning caddy made from recycled plastic, and two rolls of 100% recycled, unbleached paper towels.
Last night I cleaned the kitchen and the bathroom using the new products and let me tell you I was quite impressed. The first thing I noticed was the scent, Lemongrass & Thyme. This is a very different scent for cleaning products. It is not overbearing, it is light and fresh. I personally enjoy the scent however my girls thought “it does not smell like cleaners”. I told them of course it dosen’t, it is made with natural ingredients.
The second thing I noticed is that it cleans really well. My kitchen counter was a wreck as well as my sink so it was a perfect time to try out a new product. When I got done the kitchen looked clean and smelled fresh.
My conclusion was that I really loved the products! Thankfully I have a month left to use my coupons so I will be searching out the best deal to use them on.
Now here is the best part!! Seventh Generation through MyBlogSpark is going to provide another “Disinfecting Cleaning Kit” for one of my readers.
