2 $4/2 Gillette body Wash

Total Spent around $6 ( I had many other non grocery related items)

So I had never tried Target milk before.  We got them home and opened one and it was horrible.  It was 12 days from expiration date and didn’t taste sour, however it was the most disgusting stuff I have ever tasted.  I don’t know what was wrong with it.  So I took it back to Target and they refunded me for both Gallons.  I then took the money and bought 2 gallons of Prairie Farms at Huck’s for just a few cents less.

    Wow…the milk’s a bit pricey….we’re paying about $2.40 – $2.55 per gallon in CA.

    Milk is pricey here. :(

I wonder why that is? I recently read an article abt how prices are cheaper in the heartland but compared to what I read on blogs I think a lot of stuff here is more!

I have no idea Sarah. The only place to get a decent price on milk around here (under $3) is Aldi’s, however Aldi is always so busy that I rarely go there. On this particular day I had already went to Kroger and Kroger brand milk was 50cents more, I had also been to Walmart and their cheapest was 15cents more.
