Walgreens Best Deals of the Week 3/7/10
Posted by Amber on March 7, 2010
Well I have to say that I didn’t really see anything in the Walgreens ad that looked interesting to me. Unless I see any hidden or unadvertised deals pop up in the blogosphere I probably won’t even go this week.
However in case any of you want to see what they have going this week you can check out Common Sense With Money.

My fav Wags deals this week were the Gatorade. In ad coupon makes the $1 each and there is a $1/2 in the march flyer. I got 20 of them for $10. Also the manager told me that the limits on the coupons don’t matter. It’s really up to the store.
Also the post cereal is putting out a RR. It’s not advertised. Buy 4 and get a $3RR and buy 5 get a $4RR.
Crunch bars are ringing up like $0.05 each after the B1G1 from todays inserts and $0.49 in ad coupon. Do the B1G1 first then do the in ad coupon.

Is it bad that I am getting to where I don’t want to go to Walgreens or CVS unless it is free? LOL
Crunch Bars we will probably be getting. Are there select types of the cereal available? I know that Post has started making some of their cereals like Raisin Bran and Shredded Wheat without HFCS but I don’t know about all. That will determine if we do the cereal deal or not.

Uggh I need to go to bed, I am too tired! I meant for the Post deal, is it only select types of the cereal?

Haha… I believe it is honey bunches of oats, fruity pebbles, and shredded wheat.
I bought the shredded wheat and fruity pebbles.
And no it’s not sad that you don’t want to go unless it’s free. I’m just getting back into shopping again. I’ve been lazy. We’re getting some shelving units from Home Depot so I can move all of my stockpile to the basement. So it has motivated me to shop now that I will have room!!!

Cool, I will check it out if I can get some shredded wheat!
The last two weeks in a row I did my main shopping and didn’t even use any coupons, how bad is that. Last week I had 4 girls and this week I had killer sinus problems and just needed to grab a few things to get us by. Anyway, I am feeling the need to organize my coupons and do some serious clipping and planning for my shopping this week.
In our basement we have a small room that was used as a canning room for the old lady that used to live here. it is wall to wall wooden shelves. Yay for not having to buy any. So far I haven’t filled them full but I also have a set of shelves upstairs in the laundry room for things I need often, mainly canned goods.
I love having a basement and having room to store the stuff!
