Totally tried to do this at C’dale Walgreens, but they only had one bottle of Purex in the store. Will try to hit Marion soon.
Joanna, I am pretty sure our local Walgreens get their trucks in on Thursday. So hopefully you will get to snatch some up before it is over.
Your lucky my Walgreens will not take the coupon on the free item, or take 2 coupons if one item is free!
Sonia, I am sorry this didn’t work for you. However I know at my two closest Walgreens there are a couple of cashiers who definitely wouldn’t allow this simply because they think that people who use coupons are thieves. Instead I always go to the same cashiers, the ones who are very coupon friendly.
I have found that this varies greatly depending on my cashier, but I am glad it worked for you! Free is for me!
Shelly, I have 2 Walgreens close and each of them has 1 or 2 cashiers who would never let me do this. I just make it a point to never go to those cashiers anymore. Seriously, if I walk in and realize my favorite coupon friendly cashiers are not working then I leave. LOL
