Super Meat Stock-Up
Two weeks ago after my husband filed our taxes online we made a plan of what we were going to do with our small refund. One of the things that went on our list immediately was $100 to stock up on meat.
It seems that with our healthier change in eating habits and the fact that my 2 daughters are always dying of starvation we just cannot get stocked up on food. My household stockpile is huge but my food area is so lacking. So we decided that I would take $100 of the tax money and I would buy as much meat as I could. We are hoping that will give me a real nice buffer in order to get our food stocked up.

For $100 I got 30 total packages of meat.
4 Family Packs of Pork Loin
2 Packs of Steaks
2 packs of Ground Italian Sausage
1 Turkey Breast Roast
4 Packs of Extra Lean Ground Turkey
4 Whole Chickens
11 Packs of Ground Chuck
1 Small Pork Roast
1 Large Pork Roast
I brought all the meat home, separated it and labled it. It is going to be the base for a total of 56 meals!!
