Tackle it Tuesday: Coffee Table Redo
We needed a new coffee table for the living room but didn’t really want to shell out any money right now to buy one. We had one that had been sitting in the basement for over a year now that was given to us. It was very beaten up well used but I thought once it was cleaned up and painted it could work for us. At least for the time being.
All I did was take out the glass pieces and wash it down real good. Once it had aired dry I used about 1 1/2 cans of Krylon Fusion in Black Satin to paint it.

I apologize that the second picture is terrible. I tried taking multiple pictures with and wihout flash and couldn’t get one that was decent. Between the black table, the dark floor and not enough direct light it just was not working for me. The table is very black. Not faded black. So look at the picture and imagine that my hubby’s feet aren’t in it, that the whole picture itself isn’t so fuzzy and that the table is black. LOL
It turned out much better than I had hoped and hubby really likes it too.

Thanks Angi and Kelley!
Upstatemomof3, I figured the table was free and I only spent about $7 on the spray paint so if I messed up I wouldn’t be too upset. I was glad it turned out.
Good makeover! The power of paint and some muscle grease is amazing.
