Tackle it Tuesday: Reading the Bible in 90 Days
-->A couple of week ago I decided that I was going to join in with Mom’s Toolbox and so many others in a challenge to read the Bible in 90 days. The thought of reading the Bible in that amount of time when I have never completed reading it before is exciting and also a little scary. What if I fail?
Yesterday marks the end of Day 11 and that put us about 2/3 the way through Numbers. I have read from Genesis to most of the way through Numbers in 11 days. I can hardly believe it myself. I will admit I did get behind this weekend, my sister was in the hospital and I was at the hospital for hours. However I didn’t let that stop me. I read extra for the past 2 days and I am totally caugh up now.
I am enjoying this more than I have ever imagined and I am learning more and more everyday. Things that I hadn’t realized before are sticking out in my mind as I read. Not to mention the fact that I am reading books I have never read (ie. Leviticus and Numbers).
I am so glad that I chose to take this challenge and I am so thankful that Mom’s Toolbox brought it to my attention. I can’t wait to see everything else I am going to learn from this exciting adventure.

Good luck with your tackle. I personally find the bible an extremely difficult collection of books to tackle. I’ve only managed to cover a few books with the kids with their Children’s bible so far.

Thanks Dominique! I have read a lot of the books of the Bible but mostly in the New Testament. I have read some in the Old T. but not a lot. This will definitely be a huge Tackle for me but I am excited about it.
